Description
The Olympus IMT 2 Inverted Microscope is a versatile and convenient microscope that offers phase contrast, brightfield, differential interference contrast, and simple polarized light observations. The nosepiece sports a sextuple revolver to switch between different modes quickly and easily. The stage is fixed, and focus is achieved by moving the objective up and down, resulting in increased stability and reliability.
The IMT-2 features a unique multi-tube system that prevents photographic equipment from interfering with viewing and positioning. Photographic equipment can be mounted to the side of the microscope rather than the top. If a trinocular head is combined with this multi tube system, two users can view the image simultaneously.
The fixed stage offers a generous 200x160mm scanning area, and the improved stability ensures rapid and smooth scanning of specimens.
